Ashley Fiolek is a professional motorcross champion, who has dominated since entering the WMA. Some of her notable victories include the 2008 WMX Pro National following her first win as a professional at the WMA Pro National Hangtown, the 2009 2011 and 2012 WMX Pro National, and back to back X-Games gold medals in Women's Super X (2009 and 2010). The 23 year old Motorcross champ has overcome many challenges along the way including crashes and injury, but she continues to dominate. Overcoming adversity is something Ashley has grown accustomed to.
As a child Ashley attended Florida School for the Deaf and Blind until the eighth grade where she practiced ballet, ran track, and played basketball. Even these activities some may say are not for Deaf people, but Ashley never heard them. She learned to ride at a very young age, using the vibrations of the bike to decide when to shift. Ashley's success is undeniable, and she has countless trophies to prove it. Her story is an inspiration for many people both with and without hearing disabilities. Her will to succeed and her confidence to look past her disability and say "I can" are two of the many qualities that have made Ashley a champion both on and off the track.
